StarPro Physical Therapy on West 71st Street was acquired in 2013 and offers patients many different types of rehabilitation services to relieve pain.

The building has a handicap elevator to provide access to the lower level of the clinic.

Parking and Directions

StarPro Physical Therapy is located on West 71st Street, between West End Avenue and Broadway, next door to Duane Reade and near Trader Joe’s.

The clinic is about one block away from the Bx 24 and Shuttle bus routes. The 1, 2, and 3 subway trains are accessible at the 72nd Street stop, just one block away from the clinic, with ADA-compliant access via automatic doors.

A parking garage is located across the street from the clinic.

My experience at StarPro Physical Therapy has been nothing short of amazing. My doctor, Dr. Gao, provided an effective individualized plan for me that helped rehabilitate my injury very quickly. All of the staff, especially Laila, Nicole and Rachel made me feel welcomed, guided me during my exercises and movements. I especially appreciated that the staff were punctual and I’d never have to wait longer than a minute past my scheduled time. I’d recommend StarPro Physical Therapy to anyone!

The staff is dedicated to the clients’ physical therapy needs and tailors the treatment very carefully to ensure that the client will benefit. The focus is on demonstrating and explaining exercises that the client can do at home on a regular basis both during and after attending therapy. StarPro Physical Therapy at 2067 Broadway near West 71st Street has a highly skilled team of physical therapists who are attentive to the needs of their patients and; their support staff is very personable and hospitable. The overall atmosphere from the time patients step off the elevator is warm and friendly. The therapists are a collaborative team. For example, when I was unable to match my schedule to my primary therapist, one of the other members of the team was able to accommodate my schedule so that I could move forward with my treatment. I could not possibly have better things to say about Ritu. She was an absolutely fantastic PT, both as a caregiver and as a professional. She went above and beyond to care for me. She was incredibly thoughtful, present, adaptive, and caring. She listened intently to my progress every week, worked collaboratively with me to create a care plan that made sense, adapted constantly when things changed, and was always positive, motivating, and helpful. I felt so incredibly comfortable working with her, and I know my recovery would not have been anywhere as productive without her. Even when I would change her plan, she adapted quickly, always prepared for anything I'd throw at her.The entire team at Starpro was also fantastic. They were able to accommodate so many last minute scheduling changes, and also communicated with me via email when needed. I started PT with Karishma for an Achilles injury. I thought it would take forever for me to get back to running, but Karishma had other plans! She started easy and gradually helped me build my strength. The first time I ran on the treadmill under her supervision was a great day! I was really happy with the plan she developed for me; she got me back to running in a controlled and safe way so that I wouldn’t re-injure myself. I highly recommend Star Pro PT.
