About the Clinic

StarPro Physical Therapy in White Plains has been treating patients since 2013 and offers many different types of rehabilitation services to relieve pain. Our location moved from 100 Main Street to 222 Mamaroneck Avenue in 2023. There is a ramp in the front entrance of the building and an elevator for easy wheelchair accessibility.

 

Parking and Directions

StarPro Physical Therapy in White Plains is located inside a medical office building, across the street from the fire station. We are above City MD and a chiropractic clinic, with no buildings on either side. We are also in close proximity to Chase Bank, TD Bank, Wells Fargo and CVS.

The bus stop is outside the building’s front door. The Bee-Line Bus number 63 stops at Mamaroneck Avenue @ Maple Avenue.

Parking is available across the street, about half a block away. Paid parking on the street is also available.

I would like to give a special thank you to the FABULOUS staff at the StarPro location at 222 Mamaroneck Ave. From the moment you walk in you are greeted by Chris at the front desk, who is friendly and efficient. He was very patient when it came to scheduling my appointments and knowledgeable regarding any insurance issues. My therapist, Antonios, was extremely knowledgeable and caring and pushed me just enough to get the results I needed. Bio

I received my Masters in Occupational Therapy at Columbia University where I developed a passion for the specialty area of Hand Therapy. While spending the first years of my career at two major NYC Hospitals, I was able to gain experience with a vast patient population consisting of many different diagnoses. After five years of licensed practice and over 2,000 hours in direct patient contact in an outpatient hand therapy setting, I earned my advanced certification in hand therapy. I have continued to expand my knowledge through continued coursework and staying current with the latest evidence based practice techniques. I am very adept at custom splinting for both protection and treatment of upper extremity conditions. I began working with Professional Hand Therapy in 6/2018 and have since grown the Hand Therapy Practice in Westchester from the ground up and have spearheaded a clinical mentorship program for novice therapists to learn from their more experienced counterparts.

Antonios Kambouris DPT, SFMA is a physical therapist and Clinical Director with StarPro Physical Therapy in White Plains, NY. Antonios graduated from the New York Institute of Technologies’ Physical Therapy program in 2011. Ever since his ankle fracture in high school and rehab with a physical therapist, Antonios became fascinated with the ability to rehab individuals and provide relief when they are most vulnerable. Antonios is a former high-level track, volleyball player and coach and has a special interest in Sports Physical Therapy. Antonios is an advocate of a multi-disciple approach to the management of orthopedic and sports injuries.

Mengyao Liu, DPT is a physical therapist with StarPro Physical Therapy in White Plains, NY. Mengyao graduated from Rutgers University in 2017 with her bachelor's degree in exercise science and continued her education at New York Medical College for her Doctorates in Physical Therapy. Her interest in physical therapy began following Bell's Palsy and had a great recovery due to the help of her physical therapist and doctor. She enjoys running and playing tennis on the weekends.
